• What is your name and what city do you rep?

King & Young Scratt and we are L.O.E (Loyalty Over Everything)a group/rap duo based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

• What is unique about you and your music?

We have a refreshing & different sound of rap music and very creative when it comes to making music.

• When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

King Of L.O.E: Probably when I was a teen some years ago. My grandmother bought me a keyboard and that is when I fell in love with music..I then started making beats for the local artist in my city.  I decided to take things a  seriously after I saw that I was pretty good at it..

Scratt Of L.O.E : I recorded a song called "Why What's Up" a while back, the feedback I got from it was unbelievable. After that I decided I was going to get serious and see it where it takes me.

• What type of music do you listen to?

King of L.O.E: I listen to all types of genres! I'm not boxed in to just rap music.. I love R&B, Pop, Soul all types.

Scratt Of L.O.E : I'm not a person that can listen to hip hop all day, I like to listen to r&b music as well, sometimes I'm even in a rock mood, depends on the song, good music is good music.

• Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?

King Of L.O.E Hmmm this is tough because it's a few artist I believe are undervalued .  I will have to say K-Camp.. This guy is an amazing song writer.

Scratt Of L.O.E: I feel like Roscoe Dash was over looked a lot, not to mention he's written songs for a lot of artist and hasn't been recognized.

• How do you prepare for your performances?

Well as a group we definitely practice before any live gig.. But weirdly we naturally blind when we are on that stage.. Most of it is not rehearsed.

• What ignites your (song) writing flow?

Listening to good music can definitely ignite our creative side and a good vibe..

What do you do when you don't do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

King of L.O.E: Well first thing I do when music not involved is be around my family and son number 1.. On other free time I may go shoot some hoops or go hop on a flight somewhere for pleasure..

Scratt Of L.O.E : I travel a lot with family, I have a son as well I love spending time with. Another hobby of mine is definitely playing my PlayStation.

• Success to you is...

Success to me is being in a position where I can live off something I love to do and be able to put others in a position to do the same as well.

What do you wish you were told when you first started rapping that you think would help anyone recently starting artists out?

I wish we where told that this career path takes a lot of patience and investments.. And also importantly make sure your music has good quality. which means find a dope studio/engineer to record at..

• Any upcoming projects?

Yes, We are gearing up to drop an EP.. Stay tuned.
