What is unique about you and your music? My music is unique because, I don't have a certain "style" I stick to. I can make a song about anything and to any track. I would never put a song out to the public that isn't something I wouldn't listen to myself. So I make sure that thang Raw!
What shaped your music? My Dad shaped my music! My Dad used to play Jazz all day and all night and he still does today and he is the reason I fell in love with music. I remember him playing Frankie Beverly & Maze etc.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?I realized I was going to make music professionally when I realized I had a gift and my music was good and people told me it was good. I really knew i was going to make music professionally when I people paid me for my mixtapes and paid me to do shows.
What type of music do you listen to? I listen to all genres of music ! The music I choose to listen to is based on what I'm doing at the time, my surroundings, and the vibe of the atmosphere.
Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist? Goapele is one of the most undervalued artist to me. Her music is very unique.
How do you prepare for your performances? I used to practice before I perform, and prepare until I found out I never use what I practiced when I hit the stage. I just go with the flow and let loose.
What ignites your (song) writing flow? For me to write a song, I have to like the beat. Sometimes a certain topic will come to me and I'll write the song before I have the beat.
What do you do when you don't do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about? Art was my first love! I used to sit in my room and draw while my friends played outside. I remember one time, my friends knocked on the door and asked my Mom to tell me to come outside and hoop and she said "baby, he down there drawing, but I'll tell him" I never did go outside lol
